Chelsea Dornan is a NASM certified personal trainer and has been training clients in New York City for over 3 years. Currently a resident fitness instructor at Chalk Gyms, Chelsea’s philosophy for personal training is a total mind and body approach, and her fitness background and areas of expertise include techniques such as strength training, yoga, H.I.I.T, martial arts, and kettle bell. Each client of Chelsea’s receives personalized and tailored sessions for their specific fitness needs, goals and level. She firmly believes that fitness should be enjoyable while achieving positive mind-body results.

Chelsea grew up in Brisbane, Australia where her active childhood procured her love for health and fitness with body surfing, surf skiing and beach running. Chelsea was a member of her school’s swim and cross-country teams, in addition to playing softball, netball and touch football competitively. She is also a certified scuba diver. Prior to becoming a personal trainer, Chelsea graduated from Queensland University of Technology and worked as a marketing and communications officer for The QLD Environmental Protection Agency.

Chelsea believes in finding a balance in life, and loves to indulge in good food, good wine and good times with friends. She lives in Brooklyn, NY and takes frequent trips to Long Beach Island, as well as other global destinations to soak in as much of the world as possible!
